The Pitztal Glacier Cable Car and the Pitztal Tourist Board, together with ARGEN Ski Mountaineering, have implemented Tyrol’s first ski touring park through Karl Posch, Alexander Lugger and Martin Dufter. The park is located exclusively in the secured ski area on the Pitztal Glacier. It offers touring possibilities with its own ascent tracks in several levels of difficulty and with various altitude meters. The attractive winter sports offer complements the existing routes in the popular ski touring area, which include the Wildspitze – Tyrol’s highest mountain – the Petersennspitze and the Linke and Rechte Fernerkogl. The DYNAFIT ski touring park was officially opened on November 16, 2017 by top athlete Johanna Erhart.
