In 2025, we are setting new priorities: In addition to the tried-and-tested cycle routes in Chiemgau, we are also including MTB tours in our program for the first time. In total, over 2,000 kilometers of routes need to be checked, documented and – where necessary – optimized.
Our dedicated team has been out and about in Chiemgau since April to implement the annual quality management. This year, special attention is being paid to the MTB trails, which are being subjected to a comprehensive inspection for the first time since the signposts were installed in 2020 and 2021.
For planning and documentation, we use the tourinfra mobil system, which enables us to record all defects seamlessly. On this basis, the office team can already take over the material organization, while the assembly team carries out the necessary corrections directly after the inspection trips.
Our team is on the road with the four-wheel drive caddy, which is well known in the region.

FGSV & MTB signposting at a glance
During this year’s inspection, we are checking both the FGSV signposting and the MTB signposting. The FGSV signposting is implemented as destination signposting, while the MTB signposting is route signposting. To optimize the use of materials, the MTB routes in the valley area are integrated into the FGSV signposting using signets. This efficient combination enables clear and resource-saving route guidance for cyclists and mountain bikers alike.
