The route network is therefore the first officially coordinated MTB network in the Bavarian Alps and Bavaria. The signage is due to be installed in spring so that bikers can take on around 900 km of mountain bike trails.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1457788581707{margin-right: 0px !important;margin-bottom: 0px !important;margin-left: 0px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1\/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1457789015745{padding-top: 33px !important;padding-right: 42px !important;}”][vc_column_text]Bavaria’s first MTB region stretches from the westernmost municipality of Aschau im Chiemgau via the Chiemgau Alps, Ruhpolding and Reit im Winkl with Austria to Inzell on the edge of the Berchtesgaden Alps. The route network offers all mountain bikers a wide range of different levels of difficulty from Bavaria to neighboring Austria with Tyrol and Salzburger Land. The now completed project will serve as a reference for the whole of Bavaria. <\/p>\n

In the course of the planning steps, not only an attractive bike offer was created. The signage system was developed in close cooperation with local stakeholders and agreed with the landowner, Bayerische Staatsforsten. The signage system consists of various types of signs, is compatible with the signage in the neighboring regions of Austria and Berchtesgadener Land and can be integrated into the existing cycling and hiking infrastructure. <\/p>\n

Mountain bikers use the tour numbers on the signs to find their way. Information boards at the starting points and at prominent intersections will supplement the guidance system. Tourinfra proved to be a valuable tool during the re-signposting of hiking trails in a total of six municipalities and seven DAV sections. However, a new signposting project does not end with the installation of the signposts. If signposts are damaged or subsequent improvements are necessary, Tourinfra provides us with optimum support in the quality management of the hiking infrastructure. <\/p> <\/div> <\/div> <\/span> <\/div> <\/div>
