Real-time information system for cross-country skiers<\/h6>\n

The trail manager enables destinations to communicate the trail conditions to guests in real time. Following the successful launch last season, an Android app has been added to the overall trail manager system for maintaining the condition of the trails. The app transmits the position of the snow groomers and the trail’s grooming status to the XC-Ski.de cross-country skiing portal – real-time information directly from the snow groomer’s cab to the guest. <\/p>\n

The top cross-country skiing destination in Austria, the Olympiaregion Seefeld, is already using the system. Thanks to the good snow conditions, Elias Walser and his team were able to test the system under real conditions. In the coming days, cross-country skiers will be able to follow the work of the snow groomers live and from now on receive precise data on the condition of the trails. As the Olympiaregion Seefeld, we want to be one of the best when it comes to cross-country skiing. An optimal flow of information on the condition of our cross-country ski trails is an important building block. One promising approach is the trail manager, which helps us to precisely record the condition of the trails and transmit this information to our guests in real time. In addition, thanks to the collaboration between green-solutions and XC-ski.de, we can reach the largest German-language cross-country skiing portal and its users. <\/p>\n

The trail manager transmits the position of the track devices and the condition of the trail directly from the driver’s cab to the largest cross-country skiing portal xc-ski.de<\/strong><\/a>. The grooming is tracked and transmitted live. Our customers Ramsau am Dachstein and Reit im Winkl are also already using the service, the current trail information is transmitted via the trail manager to the users of xc-ski.de<\/strong><\/a> via the trail manager. <\/p>\n
