[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Zugspitz Region GmbH has commissioned green-solutions<\/a> with the planning and implementation of the comprehensive cycle path concept “Climate-friendly paths through the district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen”. Over 700 kilometers of cycle path network will be newly mapped and signposted in coordination with the district, the Bavarian State Forestry Department and the nature conservation authority. The aim is to promote cycling as an alternative means of transportation to the car. Common quality standards will be defined and a tour and signage plan will be drawn up. The GPS-supported recording of the existing cycle route signage and the planning of the new cycle signs will take place in 2016\/2017. The planning on site will be carried out with the help of tourinframobil. <\/em><\/strong>After the field work, the signage will be created with tourinfra\u00ae<\/a><\/strong> and finalized from the system until the signs are ordered. <\/p>\n

Finally, to give guests something to take with them on their way, green-solutions creates a cycle map for the entire district. This is where our custom maps<\/a> come into play, i.e. the production of the cycle map is based on OSM data (OpenStreetMap) in a tailor-made map layout for Zugspitz Region GmbH.
