Grafschaft Bentheim relies on tourinfra

Grafschaft Bentheim is increasingly developing into a paradise for cyclists. With an extensive network of well-signposted cycle paths, idyllic river landscapes and historical sites, the region invites you to actively experience nature and culture. Whether along the Vecht valley route, through picturesque villages or past castles and mills – every tour offers unique impressions. Numerous cycle-friendly accommodations, refreshment stops and services ensure that guests are relaxed and comfortable along the way. Grafschaft Bentheim combines active enjoyment with sustainable tourism and makes cycling tours a special experience. Guests have a total of more than 1,200 km of cycle paths at their disposal. The region can be explored on 26 exciting routes.

In order to further promote the cycling experience and also provide everyday cyclists with a well-maintained infrastructure, Grafschaft Bentheim will in future rely on tourinfra as a management solution for the cycling infrastructure. The overall solution is managed by the Grafschaft Tourismus team. Thanks to the mobile solution tourinfra mobil, trail sponsors and the region’s construction yards can carry out the work on site in a decentralized manner. By introducing tourinfra as a central control point, it is possible to maintain the more than 1800 locations with cycle route signposts at a high level of quality.

Directly on the Dutch border in north-western Germany and in south-western Lower Saxony lies Germany’s last and only administrative district with the title Grafschaft in its name.
